Helpful Books on Depression

Want to learn more about depression, but from a biblical counseling perspective? Well, here are some books you may want to look over on this topic ... The top ones are all by Ed Welch, a great Biblically-based and Christ-centered author on these topics. The other one is by a solid pastor I know of ...

***This is the best all-around work:
Depression: Looking Up from the Stubborn Darkness by Ed Welch

This is a small booklet based on the above book (you can even download sample pages in PDF form from this one): Depression: The Way Up When You Are Down (RCL Booklet) (CCEF)

This deals with the brain as a factor in these discussions ... or not (sample of this one available as well): Blame It on the Brain by Ed Welch

I include this one on feelings as well: Feelings and Faith: Cultivating Godly Emotions in the Christian Life by Brian Borgman Please let me know if you know of any others!

PS - Here are a few helpful articles as well ...
