This paper is only a brief introduction to a few (out of a myriad) issues relating to justification and the NPP. For one to get a more solid grasp on the topic, here are a few more resources not listed in the footnotes:

Cornelius P. Venema, Getting the Gospel Right: Assessing the Reformation and New Perspective on Paul (Carlisle, PA: The Banner of Truth Trust, 2006);
By Faith Alone: Answering Challenges to the Doctrine of Justification, ed. Gary L. Johnson and Guy Prentiss Waters (Wheaton, IL: Crossway, 2007);
Guy Prentiss Waters , Justification and the New Perspectives on Paul: A Review and Response, (Phillipsburg, NJ: Presbyterian and Reformed, 2004);
Mark A. Seifrid, Christ Our Righteousness: Paul’s Theology of Justification (Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity, 2001);
Justification and Variegated Nomism: The Complexities of Second Temple Judaism, Vol. 1 ed. D. A. Carson, Peter T. O'Brien, and Mark A. Seifrid (Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Academic, 2001);
  Justification and Variegated Nomism: The Paradoxes of Paul, Vol. 2 ed. D. A. Carson, Peter T. O'Brien, and Mark A. Seifrid (Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Academic, 2004);
Simon J. Gathercole, Where is Boasting: Early Jewish Soteriology and Paul’s in Romans 1-5 (Grand Rapids, MI, Eerdmans), 2002;
Cornelius P. Venema, The Gospel of Free Acceptance: An Assessment of the Reformation and ‘New Perspectives’ on Paul (Carlisle, NJ: Banner of Truth Trust, 2006);
Mark Husbands, Justification: What’s at Stake in the Current Debate (Downers Grove, IL: IVP Academic, 2004).

I did not list any NPP books here. There are resources for that perspective in the footnotes already. It seems NPP books are easier to find and often more widely read. I suspect NPP works are over represented in both scholarly and lay discussions. Therefore, I wanted to give people the awareness that there are a number of well-done books which answer most of the questions raised by NPP scholars (often while quoting them at length).
